Famous for our beaches, walking routes and warm hospitality, the Isle of Gigha Hotel is the perfect base for your island adventure. We offer breathtaking views, homely comforts, and local charm.

Our community owned Hotel is relaxed, friendly and full of character. With amenities like free Wi-Fi, dog-friendly rooms, an onsite restaurant, and the island's only pub for locals and visitors alike, we know how to create a true island welcome.

The Isle of Gigha Hotel is gradually reopening its doors after three years of closure. The Hotel is back in the hands of the community and the Isle of Gigha Heritage Trust are overseeing the running of the beloved Hotel.

Our newly refurbished bar reopened in the Summer of 2025, welcoming guests back across the threshold into a new look Gigha Hotel Bar. The kitchen has now reopened and we are taking bookings for lunch and dinner Wednesdays-Sundays for the Spring. As the season progresses, the kitchen will move to 7 day opening and the menu will grow and evolve. 

We are also currently making improvements to the bedrooms, ensuring they are cosy and homely, and plan to open these across the season on a phased basis, with the first rooms available from mid-May. There are a lot of hoops to jump through, but we hope to have our booking diary open in April for booking from mid-May. 

This year is all about finding our feet as we gradually build back up to full capacity and then we’ll be able to start expanding our offering and making bigger changes to the building.
